Using HandyWrk

HandyWrk is a tool for contractors to build and share job quotes. You are responsible for the accuracy, terms, and content of any quote you send to a client. HandyWrk does not review or approve quotes on your behalf.

Free quotes and subscription limits

New accounts receive 3 free quotes as a one-time, non-renewable allowance. After that, a paid Standard or Pro subscription is required to generate new quotes.

Standard plans include up to 10 quotes per week. Pro plans include up to 20 quotes per week. Weekly counters reset on a rolling 7-day basis.

Attempting to bypass these limits — including creating multiple accounts, using scripts or automation, or exploiting bugs — is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

AI estimates

AI-generated material suggestions, pricing, and labour estimates are provided as a convenience and starting point only. HandyWrk makes no guarantee of accuracy and is not responsible for losses, disputes, or damages arising from reliance on AI-generated estimates. You should review all AI-suggested materials, quantities, and pricing before including them in a quote or presenting it to a client.

Subscriptions and cancellation

HandyWrk offers paid Standard and Pro subscriptions. Billing and payment processing depend on the platform you use to subscribe.

Web and desktop users: Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in Canadian dollars through Stripe. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal in Settings. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. If payment fails or is not made, quote generation may be suspended until the issue is resolved.

iOS app users: Subscriptions are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system, managed via RevenueCat. You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings in the iOS Settings app. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.

If you use HandyWrk on both web and iOS with the same account, your subscription status may be synced across those platforms, so you do not need to purchase twice. Refunds and billing disputes on iOS subscriptions are handled by Apple according to its policies.

Account termination

HandyWrk reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, non-payment, or violation of these terms. Termination may be immediate and without refund where abuse or illegal activity is involved.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HandyWrk's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $50 if you did not pay. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload, including photos, logos, and client information. HandyWrk retains ownership of the platform, software, branding, and generated quote layouts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or email. Continued use of HandyWrk after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
